The Reformation Lutheran Conference
What We Believe

Platform Statement

The Reformation Lutheran Conference accepts without reservation the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments as the verbally inspired inerrant Word of God, and submits to this Word as the only infallible authority in all matters of faith and life (II Tim. 3:15-17). The Reformation Lutheran Conference also accepts and confesses all the confessions contained in the Book of Concord of 1580 as a true and correct presentation of Christian Doctrine, drawn from and in full agreement with the Word of God. Our fellowship is based on the unity of spirit both in doctrine and practice in which the Holy Spirit has united us on the basis of His precious word (Philippians 2:2). We pray for the grace to be faithful to that word in our confessions and our practice and to separate ourselves from those who are not obedient to it (1 Peter 1:14, Romans 16:17, 2 Corinthians 6:17).
